Staff & Volunteers

Sonia Kamath is a student at the University of St. Andrews studying International Relations and Sustainable Development. She has spent the past 4 years of her academic career specializing in environmental advocacy and policy with a strong focus on agriculture and agricultural interventions. She is thrilled to be a member of The Sunshine Kitchen team. When she is not at The Sunshine Kitchen, you can find her at the botanical garden working with their youth program, engaging with clubs on campus, or singing with her a cappella group.

Rosa Doran is a Fine Art graduate from the University of Edinburgh who works as the stall supervisor at The Sunshine Kitchen markets. Away from the Sunshine Kitchen, Rosa works with young adults as a volunteer, as well as working within the food and drink industry. Rosa loves the work of The Sunshine Kitchen and the opportunities it affords young people and enjoys working within the local community.

Lisa Donaldson joined The Sunshine Kitchen in 2023 and has since enjoyed working closely with the team, gradually developing her role within the kitchen and becoming more involved in its activities. She studies with The Open University, and is currently working towards her diploma in psychology. Lisa has a keen interest in natural history, and in her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and being outdoors. Lisa values the sense of community and shared purpose that working at The Sunshine Kitchen provides.
