On 11th August 2024, a team representing The Sunshine Kitchen, will be taking part in the Dundee KIltwalk’s ‘Wee Wander’. Designed to be an inclusive walk for all abilities, the route will take walkers along Dundee’s waterfront from the town centre to Broughty Ferry. The team will include not only our young chefs and gardeners, but also their families who will be walking with them in support.

The Sunshine Kitchen now provides places for around thirty young people who benefit from consistent support so that they can reach their full potential as part of a working team. The Sunshine Kitchen aims to provide substantial placements where young people are involved in all aspects of work from growing produce to cooking with it and selling their food at markets.

Please support our team in raising funds for the project, which will be used in the development of their produce garden and to to buy equipment for their kitchen.
